Business Studies Teacher
Step Teachers are working with a secondary school based in the North West region of Norwich to source a Business Studies Teacher to start after the October half term. The position of business studies teacher could be suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT) in addition to those with more experience. This role is offered on a part-time basis until December, but for the right candidate, the school is willing to extend this. Due to the nature of the role, the school is looking for a candidate to be a Business Studies trained teacher.
The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school that continues to be good. Behaviour in the school has improved, and the head teacher has a clear vision for the school. There is a sixth form on site and offers a range of courses to suit their needs. Students achieve well in most subjects.
The Role:

Strong Business Studies curriculum knowledge at KS3 – 5

Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

Ability to assess and report on your students when required

Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:

Hold QTS or the equivalent of

Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Business Studies

A Business Studies or a similarly specific degree is essential.
