Step teachers are working with a school in Norwich who are looking for a Science teacher to join their team in January 2023. This position is offered on a part-time basis until the end of the academic year.

The school has been rated as “Good” in the last Ofsted report where the teaching has been praised for its rapid improvement, especially within English, Maths and Science. The students are proud representatives of their school and behave well and contribute to the running of the school. There is also a sixth form on site which is also rated “Good”.

Role: 

  • Strong Science curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required

Step Teachers are looking for a Cover Supervisor based local to Ilford to start in October 2022. This is a long term booking to start after the October half term.   

Role: 

  • Covering a class when the teacher is absent

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

  •  Ensuring the children are completing the work that has been set

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

  • A university degree is desirable but not essential

  • Previous experience as a cover supervisor or cover supervisor training complete  

 Hours of work: 8:30 - 3:30 Monday - Friday
