​Step Teachers are seeking a qualified teacher to work as an NTP Tutor in local schools, working with children in KS1/KS2 for Bodmin and the surrounding areas. The position of NTP will take place onsite, currently.

The pupils have been specially selected to be part of the programme to help them catch up to their peers and re-build their confidence. Therefore, they must have the same tutor for the entire duration of the assignment.

The rate of pay is £27 per hour.

Being an NTP tutor is convenient for qualified teachers who are looking to get back into work after periods of time away from teaching and want part-time, flexible hours to fit current commitments.

To be an NTP Tutor you will need to have one of the following

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent

  • A degree in either Maths, English

The right candidate must...

  • Have strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and experience in tutoring or teaching in a classroom
