Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification

  • Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching primary

  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management

  • Experience working with SEND is desirable

Role:

  • Working across all year groups to support pupils with SEN

  • Support children on a 1-1 and group setting

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

Step Teachers are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant based in Haringey. This is supporting a child in Year 1 with ASD. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ASD previously. This is a long-term role starting in October 2022.

Role:

  • Able to provide 1-2-1 support

  • Access and report on students
