​Step Teachers are looking for graduates or experienced cover supervisors who want to gain more experience working with young adults and students. The school we are supporting are based in North Suffolk and is available full-time from January until the end of the academic year.

The school has a trust that is providing effective support for the school with the school’s leadership team recently enhanced across the school. The new leaders understand the strengths and weaknesses of and have begun to make improvements. Pupils are well prepared for their next steps after school and receive effective advice and guidance. Some teaching in the school is strong and pupils respond well and have a positive attitude towards learning.

Role:

• Cover lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher

• Ensure the class are on target with the pre-set work

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements

• Degree level or higher qualification or experience as a cover supervisor
