​Step Teachers are looking for an English Teacher to work with our partner schools in North Suffolk. This role will be available on a full-time basis from January 2023. This role will require the teacher to undertake the full teaching role and have strong behaviour management.

The school has a trust that is providing effective support for the school with the school’s leadership team recently enhanced across the school. The new leaders understand the strengths and weaknesses of and have begun to make improvements. Pupils are well prepared for their next steps after school and receive effective advice and guidance. Some teaching in the school is strong and pupils respond well and have a positive attitude towards learning.

The role:

• Have strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 and KS4

• Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

• Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team

• Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils

  Have strong behaviour management skills

Requirements

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• An undergraduate degree in English is desirable

• Have recent experience teaching English
