​Step Teachers are working with a school in Great Yarmouth who are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to join their team in January 2023. This role is available permanently and if the candidate is available before January, they are open to an earlier start. The role is suitable for ECTs and expereinced teachers.

The school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school whose pupil’s achievement has risen since the school opened. The senior leaders routinely monitor the progress of the students who are at a disadvantage and provide intensive support for those who need it most. Behaviour is good and pupils are respectful and courteous towards staff and their peers.

The role:

• Strong knowledge of Food Technology up to KS5

• Your lessons will be creative, varied, and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice

• Willingness to comply with the school’s policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• You will hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Holding a Food Technology/Technology related undergraduate is desirable

• Experience teaching the UK Food Technology curriculum
