Step Teachers have the pleasure to be recruiting on behalf of an excellent school within the Plymouth area. The position will be a long-term basis, 3 to 4 days a week with a chance of turning permanent for the right applicant. Role: 

• Plan lessons that will promote good outcomes and challenge students

• Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge

• Use effective and accurate assessment tools

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively 

• Be part of a team and work with outside agencies

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching a humanities subject

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
