​Step Teachers are looking for an experienced teacher to join a school based in Norwich to start after the October half term. This position will be teaching Computer Science and Maths at a sixth-form college and is available on a full-time basis until December 2022, however, for the right candidate, this could be extended.

The school has been graded as “Outstanding” by Ofsted and praised towards the senior leaders, governors and trust members for an outstanding educational experience for students. The level of education is of high quality. Student behaviour is outstanding and they take pride in their work. Attendance is also outstanding and the teachers have instilled in students a strong desire to learn with students working very hard and keen to improve and succeed in their work.

Role:

• Strong Computer Science and/or Maths curriculum knowledge at KS4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and them implement effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Maths

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
