​Step Teachers are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Great YArmouth District that is seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher to join their successful department. This role will commence in January 2023 and will be available on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

The school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school whose pupil’s achievement has risen since the school opened. The senior leaders routinely monitor the progress of the students who are at a disadvantage and provide intensive support for those who need it most. Behaviour is good and pupils are respectful and courteous towards staff and their peers.

The role will require:

• Have strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5

• Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

• Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team.

• Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils.

Requirements

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• An undergraduate degree in Maths is desirable

• Have recent experience teaching Maths
