​Step Teachers are currently looking to recruit an exceptional Music Teacher to join a secondary school in Norwich. This role is due to commence from January 2023 and is initially available until the Easter Half term, however, for the right candidate, this could be extended. The role is available on a full-time basis, but the school is willing to consider a teacher on a part-time basis.

The school has been rated as “Good” in the last Ofsted report where the teaching has been praised for its rapid improvement, especially within English, Maths and Science. The students are proud representatives of their school and behave well and contribute to the running of the school. There is also a sixth form on site which is also rated “Good”.

Role: 

• Strong Music curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Maths 

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
