​Step Teachers are working with a secondary school based in Norfolk to source a female PE teacher to join their department from January 2023 for 2 terms. This role will be available on a long-term supply basis.

This school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school where the school has been praised for its diverse and happy community. The students are polite and courteous, and the culture of the school encourages mature and sensible behaviour. The students are motivated to learn and the students are able to ask and answer questions throughout the lessons.

The role:

• Strong PE curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Marking and planning

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom and sports areas with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching PE

• The relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
