​Step Teachers are working with a school in Bow to source a Physical Education teacher. This is a maternity cover role available from the 31st of October 2022 until the 31st of March 2023.

This is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school where the headteacher and other leaders have very high aspirations for the girls in their care. They have successfully created a happy, warm and nurturing community where pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Role:

• Strong Physical Education curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Physical Education

• The relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
