​Step teachers are working with a school south of Norwich that is looking for a Science teacher to join their team after the October half-term. This position is offered on a full-time basis until Christmas, but this is likely to be extended beyond Chrismas and into the new year.

In the last Ofsted report, the school was rated as “Good”. The school leaders have a high expectations that are shared with staff and pupils. The school is a happy place where all get on well with each other and students are proud to wear their uniform. Their Behaviour is good and receives good teaching. Students have positive attitudes towards learning, and they enjoy coming to school. Students make good progress with teaching across most subjects being good.

Role: 

• Strong Science curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Science 

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
