​Step Teachers are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 1 Class in East London. This role is on a long term basis – with a view to extend.

This is a one form-entry school; Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in an affluent area in Hackney. The school values the growth and learning of each indivudual child.

 Role: 

• Special Needs Teaching Assistant

• Supporting a Year 1 class

• Group and 1-1 support

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively  

Requirements: 

• Experience working with SEN and providing both group and 1-1 support 

 Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30
