​Step teachers are a large educational recruitment agency working with secondary schools across Norfolk. On this occasion, we are looking for a supply teacher to join a school in the Great Yarmouth district until the end of the academic year. This will be available on a general cover basis starting after the October half term.

The school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school whose pupil’s achievement has risen since the school opened. The senior leaders routinely monitor the progress of the students who are at a disadvantage and provide intensive support for those who need it most. Behaviour is good and pupils are respectful and courteous towards staff and their peers.

Role:

• Strong curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching

• A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
