Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts; as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area we are currently looking for an experienced Year 3 Teacher in Hitchin to start in Novemeber 2022, initially until the end of term but with the potential for the role to be extended.

Following a recent inspection the school continues to be rated ‘good’ by OFSTED. The school has positve values; sets high standards for their pupils and is driven to help every child reach their potential.

Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Work effectively with other staff both within the classroom and throughout the school

• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively 

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching primary

• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management

• Expereince working with SEND is desirable
