Role:

Strong Geography curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

Ability to assess and report on your students when required

Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Step Teachers are looking for an English Teacher to join a secondary school based in Enfield. This role is available immediately. This is a long-term supply role, however, this may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English Language and English Literature curriculum

  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources

  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school

  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons

  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching English at the secondary school level.

  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management

Step Teachers are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Great YArmouth District that is seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher to join their successful department. This role will commence in January 2023 and will be available on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

The school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school whose pupil’s achievement has risen since the school opened. The senior leaders routinely monitor the progress of the students who are at a disadvantage and provide intensive support for those who need it most. Behaviour is good and pupils are respectful and courteous towards staff and their peers.

The role will require:

  • Have strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5

  • Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

  • Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team.

  • Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils.

Requirements

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • An undergraduate degree in Maths is desirable

  • Have recent experience teaching Maths
