Step Teachers are seeking a qualified teacher to work as an NTP Tutor in a primary school, in Leigham, Plymouth.
It's 1pm -3pm, 5 days a week. If these exact times don't fit with what you are looking for, please still apply as the school may be able to work something out.
The pupils have been specially selected to be part of the programme to help them catch up to their peers and rebuild their confidence. Therefore, they must have the same tutor for the entire duration of the assignment. Sessions will be hourly and with group between 3-6 pupils.
The rate of pay is £27 per hour.
Being an NTP tutor is convenient for qualified teachers who are looking to get back into work after periods of time away from teaching and want part-time, flexible hours to fit current commitments.
To be an NTP Tutor you will need to have one of the following
Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
A degree in either Maths, English, Science, Humanities, or Modern Foreign Languages and strong tutoring experience.
